Set a default start location for the map (New UI)

You can customize the start location and zoom of the map when your store locator first loads to your users.

First head over to Settings in Storemapper.

Along the tab at the top of the page, select “General” and scroll down to “Search”. Here you will see the option for start location and start zoom.

Start location can be anything that you would type into Google Maps: a zipcode, country, city, state or specific address. That will be the center of the map when it initially loads.

Start zoom is a relative zoom number for the map. Setting it to zero would show the whole globe, around 3-4 will show a continent, and 7-8 will be quite zoomed in to a city level. Play around with it a little until you get it just right.
