Is the store locator mobile friendly?
Yes, your store locator comes with a built-in responsive/mobile-friendly theme. If your website is not responsive you can turn off the mobile design in your settings.
But remember, you can edit every aspect of Storemapper with your own CSS. If you’d like to tweak the mobile layout, media queries and any other mobile design pattern will all work with Storemapper.
Can I customize the store locator to match my site theme?
Yes! While other store locators can look like they’ve been jammed into a site, Storemapper inherits site styles to match your branding. You can also tweak any design aspect you like with your own CSS.
Storemapper also comes with tons of preset settings for customizing the way the locator works, text fields and map colors.
I have thousands of stores, can I add them all quickly?
Yes, Storemapper has several options for bulk adding/editing locations.
1. You can upload a spreadsheet as a CSV file using our bulk uploader.
2. Premium accounts can use our Drive Sync feature that allows you to sync data from a connected Sheet in Google Docs/Google Drive (or whatever it’s called these days).
How do the pricing tiers work?
There are three basic pricing tiers. Our Micro plan is for accounts with fewer than 100 locations. For accounts with 101 – 1,000 locations we offer the Pro plan. Accounts with more than 1,000 locations will need our Premium plan.
Regardless of your number of stores, you may want our Premium plan which includes several features not available at other plan levels. These include:
- Syncing location data directly from a Google Drive Sheet
- View store locator usage and valuable search data with our Analytics package.
- Feature certain stores more prominently using custom tiers.
- White labeled store locator (no “powered by Storemapper” link)
- Add Storemapper to your Facebook Page
All plans have at least a 20% discount if paid annually rather than monthly.
Do I have an option to pay a one time fee for the use of Storemapper?
All our pricing options are subscription based. Part of the reason Storemapper integrates so easily is that each time one of your customers goes to use it on your site, fresh data is loading dynamically from our servers. That ongoing usage means we need to structure Storemapper as a service rather than a one-off app purchase.
Does Google approve of this?
Yes. We purchase an official OEM license from Google Maps. Many store locator apps do not which is a huge risk for you and your business. When considering store locator apps you should always inquire about this. More information here.
How do I cancel my account?
If you signed up directly with us using your credit card, you can cancel your account by going to this page: https://storemapper.co/settings/cancellations/new
If you signed up via Shopify, you can simply uninstall the Storemapper app from your Shopify dashboard.
Either way will stop your billing in the next cycle. However, you still need to manually remove the Storemapper embed code from your website.
